Benjamin Ebert, ECM’s founder and CEO, oversees all portfolio management and operational aspects of ECM. He incorporated Ebert Capital Management in 2010 and began work as a financial advisor and tax preparer in 2008. Benjamin has earned the Accredited Portfolio Management Adviser license from the College for Financial Planning and is an IRS Enrolled Agent. Benjamin received his Bachelor's Degree in International Studies from Humboldt State University after initially receiving a scholarship to study Statistics. Master's Degree in Public Policy with a focus in Accounting and Statistics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Prior to founding ECM, Benjamin worked for the ocean conservation lobbying group Ocean Champions in Santa Cruz, CA and worked as a tax preparer for Cunningham, Malone & Morton in Eureka, CA.
Donni Mok
Chief Financial Officer
Donni is ECM's Chief Financial Officer, compliance assistant and has worked at ECM since 2010. Donni has many years of business experience in various leadership roles and uses her talents with ECM's client relations, marketing, compliance and administrative needs. Donni has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus in Accounting from Humboldt State University and provides accounting and bookkeeping services to a number of ECM’s small business clients. Donni is a dedicated mother and community volunteer.
Tristan Caswell, MBA
Financial Analyst
Tristan is ECM’s Financial Analyst and started working at ECM in 2015. Tristan has served many roles on our team including Office Manager and Assistant Portfolio Manager. Tristan has an MBA from Humboldt State University and his expertise in financial analysis, GIPS® performance analytics and his excellent client service are an important part of the services we provide to our clients.
